About the Role
Reporting into the Head of Strategic Planning & Business Execution, Fast Growing Markets, the Analyst provides critical operational and strategic support to ensure implementation of core operating cadences, executive presentation deliveries, supporting on data analytics and business modelling and smooth coordination across key stakeholders.
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Fast Growing Market President, Head of Strategic Planning FGM, Managing Directors and Finance to ensure cross-function synergies and timely delivery of all milestones.
Main responsibilities include but not limited to:-
Strategic Planning & Market Intelligence:
Support in development of strategic plans aligned with global priorities and local market dynamics in partnership with local leadership teams.
Conduct deep-dive analyses on market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities in partnership with local teams.
Support Line Manager in slide preparation and any other relevant business updates, meetings, events where applicable
Operating Cadence & Reporting:
Liaise closely with CRO office on the operating system, ensuring all tools are accessible so that Markets and local teams have clarity on the deliverables required (timelines, content requirements, templates).
Support on consolidating inputs by partnering with Finance and Markets on timely and accurate delivery of the Weekly Sales CEO pre-read, a weekly strategic recap.
Partner with CRO team on SISOTS (Sell-in, Sell-out, Trade stock) ensuring Markets understand the Trade Stock & Weeks of Coverage projections methodology, submission requirements, and drive Markets adoption of SISOTS as the single source of truth in Business plan reporting.
Board Papers & Meetings preparation:
Support specific CXO presentations, including deep-dive by each market in FGM, in line with CRO expectations and reporting guidelines
Support in the monthly ‘business as usual’ Board Paper preparation, synthesizing insights from weekly Market outlook commentaries of the past month to draft a Board-friendly narrative of top-line performance (volume, profit, key drivers & corrective actions) ready for Managing Directors and Global Revenue Channel Leads to sign-off.
Support Line Manager in the Board meetings preparation, ensuring content from Managing Directs and Function Leads are framed within the appropriate strategic narrative and format in line with Board Secretary guidelines.
Quarterly Business Plan Review:
Support Line Manager in ensuring Markets are clear on the template, submission timeline and requirements.
Provide proactive and autonomous support on the FGM consolidation of Market packs and facilitate follow-up on key actions and next steps across Finance, Markets, and Global Revenue Functions
Previous skills & experience:-
0-3 years of experience, in a fast-paced matrixed organisation in Retail, FMCG, Tech
Analytical mindset with strong quantitative and data analytics skills to translate market insights into actionable strategies
Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel (including Think Cell) with skills in data visualisation and reporting tool; strong command in narrative building
Excellent communication and presentation skills for effective stakeholder management, confident in engaging with Senior leaders
Reliable and autonomous, driving deliverables to completion with minimal oversight, comfortable navigating ambiguity with an entrepreneurial, solution-oriented mindset
