Introduction to Dyson:
Dyson is a British technology company that designs and manufactures vacuum cleaners, hand dryers, bladeless fans, heaters and hair dryers. It sells its products in over 70 countries and employs more than 7,000 people worldwide. Dyson’s products known for their high performance and breakthrough designs. Dyson products were introduced into China market 10 years ago by distributor, and Dyson China was officially founded in 2014 due to the fast growth of demand. By 2023, Dyson has grown its business in China, and we are looking to grow again substantially in 2024.
Overview – department:
The JD Ecommerce Business Development Manager leads the development and execution of strategic initiatives to drive JD channel sales growth, expand market share, and enhance business performance. This role involves overseeing cross-functional collaboration, leading key projects, and independently identifying and capitalizing on high-value business opportunities.
Main Duties/Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and optimize ecommerce strategies to achieve sales targets, improve market penetration, and align with overall business objectives.
Lead collaboration with internal teams (LS, CS, CRM, UX, etc.) and external partners (TPs) to ensure seamless execution of sales plans and drive revenue growth.
Oversee daily business operations, ensure efficiency, and resolve critical issues to maintain smooth channel performance.
Own budget management, cost analysis, and forecast planning to maximize ROI and align with financial targets.
Conduct in-depth analysis of sales data, market trends, and platform metrics to identify growth opportunities, optimize strategies, and report on key performance indicators to senior stakeholders.
Lead end-to-end business development projects, manage priorities, and guide junior team members to deliver initiatives on time and within scope.
Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities (e.g., partnerships, new product categories, platform features) to drive long-term channel growth.
Skills / Experience Required:
5Y+ years of experience in ecommerce or digital marketing, with a proven track record of driving sales growth and leading business development initiatives.
Strong working experience in JD ecommerce operations is highly preferred.
Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute long-term strategies, with a focus on scalable growth.
Leadership & Management: Experience leading cross-functional teams, managing projects, and guiding junior team members (if applicable).
Adaptability: Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and quickly respond to market changes.
Analytical & Results-Oriented: Strong data analysis skills, with a focus on translating insights into actionable plans and delivering measurable results.
