About The Role
The Service Management & Project Lead reporting to Service Management Senior Manager is responsible for embedding robust Service Management framework and leading cross‑Dyson Business Services (DBS) projects and transformation initiatives to ensure transparent delivery, measurable benefits, and strong alignment between Operations, GPOs, Markets, and Functions across DBS. This role acts as a central orchestrator for service governance, escalation management, and project tracking, enabling DBS leadership to make informed, data‑driven decisions and ensuring consistent ways of working across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Service Management
- Lead and continuously improve the DBS Service Management framework model, ensuring clear structures, decision forums, escalation paths, and accountability across Operations and Functions
- Drive assigned governance cadence meetings, including preparation of executive‑ready materials, escalation summaries, and decision logs
- Act as a point of coordination between DBS leadership, Operations leadership, and Global Process Owners (GPOs) to align priorities, risks, and improvement actions
- Maintain a central issue, risk, and escalation log, ensuring ownership, actions, and timelines are clearly defined and tracked to closure
Project & Transformation Leadership
- Lead and coordinate DBS projects and transformation initiatives
- Ensure projects are properly logged, governed, and reported, in line with agreed DBS standards and approval flows
- Support project managers and teams in consistent project definition, status reporting, and benefit articulation
Transition, Transformation & Maturity Assessment
- Support and co‑lead transition and transformation frameworks, ensuring smooth onboarding of new scope from Markets into DBS operations
- Contribute to and coordinate Value Stream Mapping (VSM) programmes, ensuring actions are tracked, governed, and prioritized
- Support service maturity assessments and benchmarking, translating insights into concrete improvement initiatives
Stakeholder & Ways‑of‑Working Leadership
- Act as a trusted partner to senior stakeholders, facilitating alignment, clarity of responsibilities, and clear information flow
- Embed consistent ways of working, governance principles, and escalation discipline across DBS teams and Operations
- Support cultural change by reinforcing transparency, accountability, and outcome‑based delivery
About You
Strong experience in Service & Project Management, Governance, or Business Transformation
Proven capability in project coordination and programme delivery within complex, multi‑stakeholder environments
- Solid understanding of benefit tracking, value realization, and performance reporting
- Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills
- High attention to detail, structure, and consistency
- Experience with governance forums and escalation management
