Reporting to the Global HR Director, the Head of HR is a senior HR leadership role responsible for defining and executing the people strategy across key global functions. Acting as a trusted advisor to executive and senior business leaders, this role will drive organisational effectiveness, leadership capability, workforce planning, talent strategy, culture, and transformation initiatives that enable business growth. The successful candidate will partner closely with HR Centres of Excellence, Regional HR teams, and business leadership to ensure the effective delivery of strategic people outcomes across multiple geographies.

About the role

Serve as a strategic advisor to senior and executive leaders, shaping people strategies that drive business performance, organisational effectiveness, and long-term growth across global functions.

  • Partner with business leaders to design and deliver talent strategies covering workforce planning, succession planning, leadership development, performance management, employee engagement, and capability building.

  • Lead organisational design and effectiveness initiatives to ensure structures, capabilities, and ways of working align with evolving business priorities and future growth.

  • Drive large-scale transformation, organisational change, and restructuring initiatives, ensuring successful adoption, measurable outcomes, and sustainable business impact.

  • Coach and influence leaders to build high-performing, inclusive teams and foster a culture aligned with Dyson's values and leadership expectations.

  • Collaborate closely with HR Centres of Excellence, Talent Acquisition, Learning, Reward, Employee Relations, and regional HR teams to deliver integrated people solutions and a consistent employee experience globally.

  • Provide leadership and governance across the employee lifecycle, ensuring compliance with HR policies, legal requirements, and best-practice people frameworks across multiple markets.

  • Leverage workforce analytics, talent insights, and organisational data to identify trends, inform decision-making, and provide strategic recommendations to leadership.

  • Lead and sponsor high-impact global HR initiatives and people transformation programmes that advance Dyson's people agenda and strengthen organisational capability.

  • Contribute as a member of the broader HR leadership team, helping shape enterprise-wide people priorities, operating models, and the future direction of the People function.

    About you

    Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related discipline.

  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including significant Human Resources Business Partnering experience supporting senior executives and global organisations.

  • Demonstrated success leading people strategies within complex, matrixed, and fast-growing multinational environments.

  • Deep expertise in organisational design, talent management, succession planning, leadership development, and change management.

  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to connect people strategies to business performance and growth objectives.

  • Exceptional stakeholder management, influencing, and executive coaching skills, with the ability to challenge constructively and build credibility at all levels.

  • Proven experience leading enterprise-wide transformation initiatives and managing ambiguity in dynamic environments.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with experience leveraging workforce analytics to drive strategic decisions.

  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence diverse global audiences.

  • Resilient, adaptable, and comfortable operating in a highly innovative, fast-paced, and continuously evolving organisation.
