About the role

As a Junior Employee Services Payroll Specialist you will support the accurate and timely execution of payroll operations across EMEA regions. This entry-level role focuses on operational tasks, learning payroll processes, and providing support to internal stakeholders while developing expertise in payroll compliance and systems.

Responsibilities:

·       Assist in daily payroll operations and monthly payroll processing.

·       Support payroll output validation and basic finance reporting task.

·       Help with payroll reconciliations and audit preparations.

·       Ensure accurate banking payment transmissions under supervision.

·       Respond to employee payroll queries via Help Desk, email, and in person.

·       Maintain basic documentation and assist in updating templates.

·       Collaborate with team members to meet payroll deadlines.

·       Learn and apply statutory payroll legislation.

·       Participate in knowledge-sharing and training sessions.

·       Support ad hoc requests and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

·       Ensure compliance with internal controls and external audit requirements.

·       Support payroll-related audit requests.

·       Follow agreed prioritization and case management principles.

About you

 

·       University diploma (preferred Accounting/Finance/Economy)

·       1-2 years’ experience of managing outsourced payrolls.

·       Basic understanding of payroll legislation and processes.

·       Service-oriented with a willingness to learn.

·       Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

·       Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

·       Fluent in English; additional language skills are a plus.
