About the role

ES Payroll Specialist is responsible for managing accurate and timely payroll operations across Region or Country, ensuring compliance with local legislation and internal policies. This role involves close collaboration with internal stakeholders and external payroll providers, delivering high-quality service and continuously improving payroll processes. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Manage daily payroll operations with precision and accuracy. 

  • Process monthly EMEA payrolls in accordance with local legislation and deadlines. 

  • Perform monthly payroll output validation, finance reporting, and Blackline controls. 

  • Perform payroll reconciliations and audit tasks to ensure data integrity. 

  • Ensure error-free transmission of banking payments and perform bank account reconciliations. 

  • Cooperate with team members to meet payroll deadlines. 

  • Build and maintain effective relationships with internal clients and external payroll providers. 

  • Provide high-level support via Payroll Help Desk, email, and in-person interactions. 

  • Address a variety of payroll-related queries from Dyson employees with professionalism and accuracy. 

  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve payroll efficiency and automation. 

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of statutory legislation relevant to payroll. 

  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and external audit requirements. 

  • Manage payroll-related audit requests. 

  • Request updates to existing templates or creation of new ones. 

  • Propose solutions for process gaps and own improvement initiatives. 

  • Maintain high accuracy and perform checks on processes and documentation. 

  • Follow agreed prioritization and case management principles. 

  • Participate in local and regional projects as a subject matter expert (SME). 

About you  

  • University degree (preferably in Accounting, Finance, or Economics). 

  • Minimum 3 years of experience managing outsourced payrolls. 

  • Solid understanding of country-specific payroll legislation. 

  • Service-oriented with a proactive attitude. 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 

  • High attention to detail and accuracy. 

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). 

  • Experience with SAP and Blackline is a plus. 

  • Experience in process transitions and documentation. 

  • Commitment to service excellence and continuous improvement. 

  • Fluent in English; additional language skills are an asset.
