About the role

Dyson are seeking are a highlight skilled Quality Manager to provide leadership across formulation development, scale‑up, and manufacturing for a diverse portfolio of topical and formulation‑based products. We require them to ensure robust quality standards, safe and compliant products, and efficient delivery of innovation to market.

The role oversees end‑to‑end Quality activities, including compliance, documentation, risk management, supplier oversight, and continuous improvement. This is a key position supporting a growing formulations pipeline and safeguarding product performance and brand reputation.

Responsibilities:

Quality Oversight for Formulation Development

  • Lead Quality oversight for new formulation development, pilot production, and scale‑up activities.

  • Approve quality plans, test strategies, specifications, protocols, and formulation changes.

  • Conduct internal and external audits against relevant global quality and manufacturing standards.

  • Review and approve artwork, batch documentation, and release activities for market launch.

  • Support technical transfers to manufacturing partners and oversee validation activities.

Compliance & Documentation Leadership

  • Ensure documentation aligns with global market quality and safety requirements.

  • Work with Regulatory, Safety, and R&D teams to define required technical dossiers, claims evidence, and product stewardship records.

  • Support global submissions, audits, and market readiness assessments.

  • Maintain accurate, controlled documentation across product lifecycle stages.

Risk Management & Issue Resolution

  • Lead investigations for deviations, non‑conformities, stability concerns, and test failures.

  • Drive structured root‑cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.

  • Identify emerging risks across formulation, packaging, supply chain, and manufacturing networks.

Quality Systems & Process Control

  • Maintain and improve core Quality systems including change control, CAPA, specification control, and release processes.

  • Approve master documents, test methods, and quality standards.

  • Ensure partners and suppliers meet required quality expectations through audits and performance monitoring.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with R&D, Regulatory, Formulations, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing to ensure product robustness and compliance.

  • Provide Quality input to technical investigations, new materials, packaging, and formulation technologies.

  • Act as the Quality representative in project teams, balancing speed with compliance.

Continuous Improvement

  • Monitor quality trends and drive improvements to reduce variation, increase efficiency, and strengthen quality culture.

  • Champion robust, risk‑based decision making across teams and suppliers.

About you

  • Experience in Quality management for formulation‑based products (e.g., topical, personal care, specialised formulations, or adjacent regulated categories).

  • Strong understanding of global quality and manufacturing standards relevant to topical or formulation‑based products.

  • Hands‑on experience with documentation control, risk management, audits, and product release.

  • Ability to collaborate cross‑functionally and influence without authority.

  • Skilled in structured problem‑solving and managing multiple complex projects
