About the role 

As our Senior Category Manager, with the support of the Beauty Lead, you will: 

  • Delivering integrated marketing and commercial strategies for the Beauty category in DACH, driving sales growth and ensuring all brand messaging aligns with Dyson’s positioning across every channel.Managing the category P&L, ensuring shrewd investment and driving proactive efficiencies. 

  • Support the Beauty Lead on NPD launches for consumers, coordinating various work streams and ensuring timely execution.  

  • Develop brand communications strategy, ensuring clear brand differentiation and superiority. 

  • Develop and execute marketing plans within the category to drive sales growth, share gains, and enhance brand attributes specifically in the Beauty Category.  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective media translation of category vision. 

  • Build effective relationships with PR, Communications, and sales teams for integrated marketing efforts. 

  • Leading special projects and cross-functional initiatives to drive category leadership and embed Dyson’s values.    

  • Shape plans and strategies for the local market business to unlock advocacy among the professional community.   

  • Set clear and measurable Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to track success and identify areas for improvement.   

About you 

To succeed in the role, we expect you to have: 

  • German native level

  • At least 6 years of solid marketing background with management-level experience. 

  • Strong experience in brand and category management. 

  • Strong knowledge of traditional and digital media. 

  • Line management experience is essential. 

  • Ability to engage, motivate, and lead teams effectively. 

  • Strong analytical and strategic planning skills. 

  • Creative thinker with effective presentation abilities. 

  • Demonstrated senior team leadership skills. 

  • Ability to influence at all levels of the organization. 

  • Diligent, approachable, and supportive demeanour
