About the role

Senior Graphic and Packaging Engineer are agile and accountable professionals who are passionate about deliver robust packaging and high-quality graphic that reflects premium brand image, in this role, you will collaborate closely with manufacturer’s graphic designer and packaging engineer, as well as internal cross-functional team to ensure on time, cost and quality. You will act as a project manager, packaging and graphic professionals spearhead problem-solving initiatives, working collaboratively with internal stakeholders including content, commercial, compliance, market, and legal teams.

Responsibilities

  • Packaging development: lead and review robust packaging solutions from manufacture partners, collaborate with cross functional team for design review, validation, problem solving, project management and risk mitigation, ensuring with project objectives.
  • Graphic development: Planning and manage graphic development schedule, including asset readiness, artwork creation and printing production in line with business plan, Driving timely deliverables from manufacturing partners and commercial teams while ensuring high-quality artwork output prior to production release. Provide oversight to design activities, ensuring all visual content is aligned with company and brand objectives.​
  • Printing quality:Ensure all artworks comply with print specifications, regulatory requirements, and established guidelines. Validate outputs and provide clear direction to manufacturers’ graphic designers and print engineers to maintain consistent and high-quality print results.
  • Project management:Lead the end-to-end integration of packaging, graphic design, and print production in alignment with business objectives. Proactively manage milestones, prioritize critical tasks, and optimize design schedules to ensure on-time delivery while accelerating speed to market through efficient and agile execution.
  • Brand objectives: Ensuring the consistency across category of artworks and the creative intent are followed.
  • Cross-team collaboration:Provide a high-level of input to ​projects, based on the extensive level of​ experience and knowledge gained​ through the graphics and print​ industry. ​
  • Manufacture partners engagement: Provide subject matter expertise in Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Quotation (RFQ), Master Service Agreement (MSA) and Scope of Work (SOW) processes, facilitating informed decision- making, Developing guidelines and team coaching in ensuring high quality output.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of packaging specifications, design iterations, development progress, lessons learnt and project documentation.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in packaging engineering.

About you

  • Minimum of 5 years packaging and graphic designer work experience with proven to ability in managing packaging graphic development projects.
  • Strong knowledge in color system and printing process, familiar with Flexo/Litho/Digital printing process.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic, industrial design or packaging field, experienced in imagery and texts set up
  • Skilled in Adobe illustration/In design/Photoshop and Acrobat
  • Skilled at estimating the cost of various design options and selecting the most cost- effective direction.
  • Effective Cross-team communication skill
  • Proactive and creative problem-solving skill
  • Strong leadership abilities with a track record of influencing others to successfully deliver results on time. Experience in collaborating with manufacture partners, demonstrating resourcefulness and maintaining trust and credibility.
