HR and IT are the nerve centre of Dyson. Both are essential in the growth of the organisation, in transforming our infrastructure, in making sure we have the right people, in ensuring they’re equipped to deliver on an international level, and in enabling efficiencies in our global operations.

  • IT graduates

    Our IT function spans our online presence, retail, customer care, marketing support, security, and the front and back office technology that drives our business.

    As we rapidly expand across the world, our global customers and colleagues need the technology, systems and infrastructures for smarter operations, more dynamic communication and quicker growth. Our IT graduate programme is designed to help us achieve these goals.

    As a Business Analyst you will translate real business problems into usable IT solutions. You’ll be gathering, interpreting and documenting customer business requirements on IT-enabled projects. Working closely with colleagues and customers to develop and test solutions, you’ll be involved in delivering user training and experiencing full project cycles through to roll out. Learning technical skills along the way, you’ll continually add to your understanding of the complexity of Dyson.

    Requirements:

    A relevant IT-related degree is advised but the discipline is not essential. More important is a passion for technology solutions – evident either from studies or extracurricular interests. You’ll be ready to learn in a fast paced environment, roll up your sleeves and get stuck in.

  • HR graduates

    Dyson is about technology. Technology created, and brought to market, by people. HR sits at Dyson’s heart – with specialist functions for Talent Development, Talent Acquisition, Operations and Rewards. HR links these all together, overseeing every people-related decision, with unique knowledge of the bigger business and commercial objectives. Integral to business performance success, HR is the objective and independent voice of the business, supporting our culture, campus expansion and new ways of working.     As a HR graduate you will be given responsibility from day one. Working closely with Business Partners, you’ll support the planning and implementation of organisation changes, HR projects and initiatives that support the challenging Dyson People strategy. You’ll develop valuable operational and commercial skills in a varied role with lots of projects spanning the HR agenda to get your teeth into.

    Requirements:

    You’ll need to be organised yet flexible, as effective working with your own agenda as you are collaborating in a team. Skilled in building relationships, ready to challenge your understanding and keen to develop knowledge. Your degree subject is less relevant, but it’s an analytical role, so a head for data is as important as are your communication skills. Critically, you’ll need to impress us with your understanding of HR.

  • HR placements

    Get immersed in the daily running of a busy Human Resources department with a 12-month placement. You’ll be performing a real operational role, which may include responding to employee requests, supporting line managers and assisting in recruitment and new starter inductions. Taking real responsibility from day one. You’ll be contributing in your role within a team, but there’ll be a variety of projects to get involved with, broadening your exposure to the role of HR in a rapidly growing business. Show us what you can do and there may be an offer of a graduate role upon graduation.
