Our Singapore story began in 2004. Its location as a base for advanced manufacturing in Asia, the skilled workforce and world–class logistics infrastructure have all contributed to Dyson’s exponential regional growth. Today, more than 800 Dyson people work across three locations. Alexandra is our main design, operations and logistics hub. West Park, our advanced digital motor manufacturing facility. And Fusionopolis is our sales and marketing hub.
There’s a strong link between Singapore and Malaysia, which is lived out in our joint social activities and sporting events, including a hard–fought annual football tournament. But it’s the annual Family Day and year end party which are the most hotly anticipated calendar events. Both give Dyson people a chance to really let their hair down and our DIY fancy dress costumes always give the UK and US a run for their money.
Our main Singapore research and design hub is located on the outskirts of town, close to greenery and minutes from the One–North area – a vibrant ecosystem of start–ups, educational and research institutes. It’s also only ten minutes’ walk from the local MRT stop.
The space itself is open plan to foster close collaboration. It’s here that Air Multiplier™ technology is developed, as well as vital other enabling technologies in electronics, software and robotics to name a few. Supply chain management, Logistics, Finance, HR, IT and Communications professionals are all part of the Alexandra team.

Set between two parks, there’s plenty of space nearby for picnicking and sports.
The South East Asia Commercial Hub is responsible for Dyson’s huge ambitions across Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and the Philippines. It needs to spread the Dyson story to hundreds of millions of homes.
As Dyson’s newest outpost, it’s small but growing fast. It’s already outgrown its first home and will soon move to a new space in the heart of Singapore’s research and development centre – Fusionopolis. The new office will have a raw concrete finish, accented with steel and glass, reflecting our industrial and engineering heritage. And there are plenty of good coffee and dining options on hand.
The team itself is full of pioneering spirit, exploring the new and forging new paths – whatever it takes to turn Dyson into a household name across South East Asia.

West Park, Pioneer
Home to our advanced digital motor manufacturing facility, the S$200m West Park facility has the capacity to produce 11 million motors a year. These can be found in our vacuum cleaners and Dyson Airblade™ hand dryers, and will be a core technology in all future Dyson machines.
It’s an exciting, cutting–edge environment, where engineers and technicians work alongside highly automated and robotic production lines. Together they ensure that every motor is precision–made and delivers the quality and power that makes Dyson machines different.
