Dyson has launched a variety of 'Early Talent' programmes for people who are ready for the real world. It's about being eager to earn while you learn, free from student loans. It's about achieving industry recognised qualifications and priceless work experience. But most of all, it's about fast-tracking your way into a career at Dyson.
When you join our financial control team at Dyson HQ in Malmesbury, you’ll see how a global business finances flow. From day one you’ll be immersed in real projects, gaining hands-on experience while studying for finance qualifications.
The programme offers a full-time role in our global accounts team, supporting study for the AAT Accounting Diploma to be completed within 2 years. You’ll also gain a Higher Apprenticeship with a nationally recognised business skills diploma.
Most notably, we hope you’ll progress to study the ACCA over the next 3 years alongside our Finance Graduates. And if you’re successful, you’ll become a Chartered Accountant at the same time as them – however you could be three years younger and free from university debt.
Fully funded study package:
In the first year, you’ll attend our partner college, Kaplan, in Bristol – one evening a week with time off for study and exams. This will cover the AAT Accounting Diploma qualification to Level 3/Intermediate.
After that, as you study for Level 4/Advanced, the programme is more tailored to your needs and preferred learning style.
As a Government sponsored initiative, the training also ensures you can receive Higher Apprenticeship accreditation and the Government Business Skills diploma once it’s successfully completed.
Best of all, Dyson covers the costs of study, workbooks and exams. You just provide your time and ambition to do succeed.
The programme is aimed at those currently doing A’levels, but ready for the world of work and wanting a head start in a Finance career. We’re only looking for the brightest, most committed students who can balance working and studying. So you’ll need to be predicted at least 300 UCAS points – ideally studying Accounting, Maths, Business Studies or similar – and able to show a clear motivation for a career in finance.
Why wait to start solving the world’s big engineering problems? This programme is far from a study sponsorship. It’s real work for those ready to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in at our labs. With the added bonus of being paid to gain a superb qualification.
