APAC B2B Hospitality Lead

This is an exciting time for the Professional business unit of Dyson with the recent addition of Lighting and Consumer products to the portfolio and significant global expansion. At Dyson we solve problems others ignore, and our mission is for every building in the world to have Dyson technology improving their space. In order to deliver this vision faster expansion into certain verticals is required. Two key verticals are Hospitality and Workspace. Success in hospitality to date shows this as a significant opportunity and it is dominated by global hotel chains that work across multiple geographies as well as key local operators. As Indoor Air Quality and personal environment control become more important in workspaces with increased flexible work environments we want to build on our existing partnerships in this sector. 
Based in our Singapore head office this role will lead our expansion in APAC to maximise the opportunity for Dyson in the hospitality and office verticals, supporting key markets in creating and delivering their strategies as well as leading on global partnerships with APAC based groups. The role will enable us to scale and grow our consumer technology business through identifying new opportunities, the best sales strategy and closing significant deals. 
The successful candidate will have a strong sales and marketing background ideally preferably in B2B. The role requires international experience, expertise in marketing to vertical channels and experience in global contract negotiations. Experience in the hotel and/or office sectors would be a strong advantage. 
Strong relationships are essential between this role and our other regions as well as with the group Commercial team based in Malmesbury to ensure that business objectives are met by all parties. Regular international travel will be required.


To enable the scaling of consumer technology sales with a particular focus on the hospitality and office sectors. 
  • Build on the existing sales approach into hotels, expanding multi-product sales. 
  • Realise the potential for purification and lighting in the office sector. 
  • Increase awareness and interest in wellness – driven by standards, employee demand and increased research into impact on productivity. 
  • Assess and develop new routes to market through e.g. rental propositions 
  • Work closely with commercial team on lead generation asset requirements and strategy 
  • Build a compelling sales story in partnership with commercial and support in training market teams 
  • Develop network of customers and gather insights to improve future product and usability 
  • To set up product trials to assess fit to purpose for B2B environment 
  • Work alongside specification team to influence future projects. 
Negotiation of Global partnerships and contracts 
  • Leads the global contract negotiations on behalf of Dyson with international hospitality customers based in APAC 
  • Works with local GMs and MDs to agree best negotiation strategies 
  • Represents the best interests of all our Dyson markets and consults where necessary. 
  • Develops the legal framework required for partnerships to succeed, protecting Dyson’s interests. 
  • Plans the fulfilment of Dyson product to customers often outside our normal supply chain routes. 
  • Consumer and Sector insights Feeds data, reports and insights back into the business to inform strategy development and competitor information. 
  • Pushes latest insights and data out to markets and key sales personnel.


  • 5+ years’ experience of management within a dynamic matrix organisation, ideally in both a consumer marketing environment and a B2B marketing environment. 
  • Experience of influencing sales personnel with a very commercial outlook 
  • Outstanding negotiating skills  
  • Experience of Sales, Marketing and Trade Marketing within a B2B environment Ability to think commercially as well as creatively. 
  • Experience of managing a team. 
  •  Experience of working across differing global markets. 
  •  Ability to work with external partners and internal stakeholders in multiple countries. 
  •  Ability to plan, deliver and communicate strategic initiatives.
