Description

The Aftermarket Operations Manager will manage the day to day operations of Dyson’s third party refurbishment facility making sure they are hitting our agreed upon KPI’s around receiving, production and fulfillment. In addition, this role will work across the organization on projects that improve Dyson operations, lead and support department projects with vendors, regional partners and assist with the management of the post-sales channel. This position will report to the Sr. Director of Post-Sales Strategy & Operations. 


Accountabilities

Create and streamline returns, refurb operations and forecasting reporting
  • Work with Retail Sales and Dyson Direct Sales teams on forecasting, tracking of KPIs and managing the channel in order to execute sales strategy and hit budget
  • Manage day-to-day refurb operations including production, inventory management and channel escalations
  • Mange/support post-sales strategic projects as needed
  • Ensure compliance with customer logistical requirements
  • Monitor, document, and communicate any changes to retailer routing guides
  • Monitor and report Dyson’s performance against retailer KPIs, including investigation of variances
  • Work cross-functionally with Dyson internal teams to determine the scope, timing and requirements of a project
  • Recap status of all current and upcoming projects to third party supplier and Dyson’s internal management
  • Audit third party supplier reports for validity and reasonableness; identify potential problems and proactively formulate solutions

Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 5-7 years’ experience in refurbishment operations, aftermarket operations, supply chain or related field
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel including the ability to create pivot tables and macros
  • SAP knowledge is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word and PowerPoint
  • Detail oriented, inquisitive mind-set with the ability to multi-task
  • Ability to operate in a high pressure, fast paced environment with time sensitive deadlines
  • Ability to provide a high level of service to customers under all market conditions while maintaining costs at a reasonable level – balancing service and cost
