About the roleSummary
The Area Sales Supervisor will provide the core of the dealer network dedicated, in-field support focused on P&L and sales growth advisory to sustain and improve dealer and company performance. This role will be responsible for driving sales and profit at partner stores(dealers) to meet targets, increase the doors, and increase penetration across the geography. Success in this role will be defined by your ability to forge relationships, credibility and influence the stakeholders. The Area Sales Supervisor will develop thorough knowledge of a defined set of dealers and effectively collaborate to navigate changing market conditions, capitalize on opportunities, and continuously improve processes.
The Area Sales Supervisior is in charge of his Territory and reports directly to the Area Sales Manager.
Planning Monthly Store wise targets, SOG volume by splitting by Sku & Store, Execute elements to achieve the target.Understand drivers of growth and profit for Dealer and be able to apply leading practices to improve performance metrics and price parity across the doors.Driving sales in unmanned stores & Reporting sales.Analysis of Store, SKU, Category, territory and have monthly Initiative.Conduct monthly Audit for our SIS Setup, Inventory managementEffectively solve problems for the partners.Analyze and review performance metricsDevelop training plan for Partner(Dealers)Enable three-way feedback loop between Distributor ,Dealer & the companyProvide constructive feedback and play an influencer role to drive and sustain dealer performanceAct as product experts for all the category and coordinate with Store Managers, Owner, Inshop Promoters to manage product line performanceUp to 90% travel required
· Typically requires a minimum of 2-4 years of experience in Consumer Electronics or 3-4 years of sales experience in a retail, Wholesaler or Distributor sales environment.
· Requires a solid understanding of financial measures, forecasting and other analytical skills. Ability to demonstrate deep understanding of key financial drivers of Dealer's business, including what best in class numbers should look like
· Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed aggressive sales performance targets and develop creative solutions to generate results
· Retail expertise, negotiation and influencing skills and ability to communicate are essential.
· Proven knowledge of Wholesalers, distributor and retail customers.
· Ability to establish good relationships and credibility with dealers, distributor and customers
