Assistant Brand Manager


$Competitive base + Kiwisaver + bonus

This role is responsible for delivering strategic and tactical projects to drive awareness, conversion and household penetration across the Dyson NZ portfolio of products


In this role you will be responsible for: 
  • Co-development of annual brand and execution plans with Brand Manager to deliver overall business objectives with approval from Marketing Director and leadership team
  • Development with Brand Manager the communication strategy and implementation of an integrated marketing campaign. 
  • This involves working closely with multiple agencies and being familiar with relevant media measures and communication platforms. 
  • Implement new product launch strategy with support from Brand Manager. Ensure all communications are fine-tuned and in line with local market to drive sales and communicate brand benefits 
  • Undertake research programs to gain segmentation information and to deliver actionable insights 
  • Participate in monthly GFK market analysis with the Business Analyst team


  • You are assertive, engaging, driven and dynamic 
  • You have rational and are a common sense thinker with a can do approach/attitude 
  • You demonstrate a passion for Dyson products - understand why they are different 
  • You have a marketing or related degree (business/marketing) 
  • You have demonstrated experience in a similar role
