About the role
The Sales Planning function will focus on supporting sales team to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of meeting sales target and KPIs.
Build high quality on sales forecasting and analysis
Work with KAM in Bottom Up Sell-In / Sell-Out Forecast submission (by week, by channel, by SKU, etc.)
Develop annual budget and rolling forecast to redefines sales assumptions and strategies
Lead evolving data and reporting foundation to provide measurement and insight for better decision making
Ensure information requirements for Finance department are met, and that all financial information provided is accurate, timely, and properly formatted
Cooperate with supply chain team to make sure supply sufficiency in line with volumes forecast
Provide valuable and various sales analysis for management team and sales team
Plan pricing promotion to stimulate sales
Develop a full annual promotion plan (by month, channels and SKUs, etc)
Provide expected sales uplift from each as part of the sales forecast process
Have strong governance around promotion planning
Develop promotion analysis framework as required for tracking purposes plus analyze ROI on promotion investment
Ensure tracking sales objectives along with promotion effectiveness
Execute forth assurance having promotions and activities in sync with all business strategies
Analyze respective accounts sales trends
Analyse and report actual sales results vs plan and define action items to compensate the gap
Capture, consolidation and distribution of retailer sales out reporting and trade stocks
Plan and Report on demonstrator coverage, number of assisted sales by store by partnering with finance on ROI
Present provision of analysis for entire sales initiatives along with insight and Key account team, Marketing Manager and Sales Director
Oversee NPD Roll-out, Fixture and POSM planning
Coordinating the NPD roll-out planning by partnering with Retail Marketing & Trade Marketing.
About you
5~10 years in solid experience in working in the field sales planning or supply planning
Comprehensive understanding of retail market
Start-up company experience is plus
Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business, Finance or a related field
Ability to interpret financial sales data to make decisions and recommendations that impact the business
Written and verbal English skills - able to communicate at all levels of the business
Presentation skills
Adaptable/flexible – able to multi task
Seamless communication
Drive and motivation
Strong team player and ability to work with the cross functional partners and senior management
Ability to work under time pressure
