Senior Business Analysts - Owner Experience

The Senior Business Analyst role offers a unique opportunity to engage with a variety of owner-facing programmes, supporting an evolving road map. Playing an integral role in understanding, defining and challenging business needs, the Senior BA will provide support throughout the delivery life cycle, from initial requirements build through to business readiness and transition. 
You’ll join a BA team working in one of the below Owner Experience areas: 

  • Digital Transformation – Europe 

We are a large programme delivery team introducing a new CRM and eCommerce platform into our European markets. Our Business Analysts work closely with Product Owners, the market and business change teams to ensure a successful launch. Applying a blend of agile and waterfall methodologies, from requirements definition through launch, you’ll ensure we deliver on our propositions and create work of lasting value. 
  • Digital Enhancement – GB and Ireland, US and Canada 
BAs on this team support our Digital Experience platform - SAP Hybris, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and multiple plugins and micro services. This team works across 5 ‘verticals’, maintaining and enhancing all aspects of the platform to deliver new functionality to improve customer experience and drive revenue. A blend of small changes and large scale transformation projects support some of our largest markets to deliver their ambitious targets and reach their full potential. Using both agile and waterfall, you’ll work collaboratively with internal stakeholder groups and external development teams. We build initial business requirements, work with our Creative teams to agree UX and UI design and engage with market teams from start to finish to ensure a successful delivery and business adoption. 
  • Owner Experience Projects – All Dyson Markets 
 We deliver a wide range of enhancements, projects and programmes across our web, eCommerce and CRM platforms for our global markets. Recent work includes expansion of the online retailers Dyson products can be purchased through; improving the way we manage our customer relationships through improved CRM capability; or increasing customer advocacy through expanding our online delivery options. We develop an approach unique to the needs of each type of work, using both waterfall and agile delivery methods. You will work with a wide range of stakeholders to elicit, analyse and document high quality requirements, ensuring trace ability and management of these requirements throughout the project life cycle.


  • Investigate and analyse business situations and business needs to identify and evaluate options for improving business systems 
  • Devise and plan analysis approach for large-scale projects and review others’ work, providing coaching and mentoring and acting as internal consultant to business stakeholders 
  • Facilitate appropriate requirements elicitation to inform business solutions and produce or guide others to produce detailed business models and assist in the preparation of business cases 
  • Line management of Associate Business Analysts and/or Business Analysts


  • Experience in the delivery of enhancements to eCommerce and/or CRM platforms 
  • Experience in working across all stages of large scale projects and programmes 
  • Strong knowledge of Agile and/or Waterfall development methodologies 
  • Experience of documenting as is and to be business processes
