About the roleWhilst pockets of insight and analytics exist, building our analytical capabilities is a core pillar of Dyson's new global data strategy. As more consumers engage with Dyson, owning more types of products, and across more markets, the volumes of data is now vast. Understanding how to use this data to improve everything from customer experiences, campaign development and retailer business planning will all be key to Dyson’s success.This role, based in Amsterdam, sits within the Business Intelligence & Analytics team and is tasked with providing timely and accurate analysis and insights to enable data driven decisions.
Responsibilities• Work with key business stakeholders to capture and document clear requirements. • Provide informative market analytics to agreed timelines.• Respond to ad-hoc market specific data / reporting requests. • Utilize a variety of data sources to gain rich insights. • Deliver training to end users centered on the consumption of the analytics we deploy.
About youPerson specification / Core competencies: • Develop analysis that is easy to understand and digest • Excellent communication skills to explain complex ideas in simple terms• Ability to manipulate large and complex data sets.• Knowledge and experience of commercial performance metrics • Experience of using visualization software e.g. Tableau Desirable.• Organized, delivery focused and comfortable working on own initiative• Good commercial awareness • Ability to work at a fast pace and to deadlines
