To deliver profitable sales volume through Distribution Partners and direct accounts. This will be enabled through the ongoing management of pipeline activity and a “pull model” through Architects and End Users. 
Within the Distribution channel the core aspect of the role is to develop strong business relationships with a mind to enabling the respective partners to sell our commercial portfolio across their counter or to their customers. With direct accounts the remit is to identify approach and close sales with a mind to achieving profitable volumes. 


  • Meetings and training with Architects and Specifiers with a view to having the Dyson products specified into new builds and renovations of commercial spaces.
  • Personally target, contact and convert large accounts ensuring prioritisation of largest opportunities 
  • Achievement of Account & Sector Specific Targets
  • Creation, development and implementation of account specific business proposals for use with internal and external customers and financial evaluation of all account proposals 
  • Ensure accurate forecasting input into forecasting process


  • Proven B2B experience (or actively looking for a move from B2C to B2B)
  • Experience in a product based environment
  • Proven ability to negotiate 
  • Excellent journey planning skills
  • Strong experience working to and exceeding targets
  • Effective, concise communicator
  • Strong presentation and reporting skills
  • CRM system knowledge
  • Good commercial experience including strong analytical ability
