Business Development Manager (New Channel)

This candidate will be a long term asset to the China organization, and to grow alongside with the business in China. This candidate will support offline key account director to expand and develop new meaningful channels in Dyson offline. Mainly focus on the hyper/super/ or new emerging channels like house hold /baby stores.


Strong background in key account management

  • Understand hyper super channel key business driver and system

  • Familiar with sell in/sell out/stock/AR/AP management

  • Lead annual joint business plan discussion with key accounts

  • Solid relationship with key account customers


Experience or passion in new channel expansion

  • Understand how to establish a new channel from 0

  • Strong business sense with data analysis capability

  • Passion of driving things happen with a hands-on attitude

  • Cool mind to know how to generate learnings from pilots and further expand for more


People management

  • Good at coach to junior team and grow their capability

  • Know how to grow organization with business scale up

  • Entrepreneurial, be unafraid to try new things, able to deal with ambiguity, and willing to take risks as needed;

  • Passionate about dyson/technology/long term development in sales organization;

  • Engineering spirit, direct and to-the-point, tenacious, constantly evolves and learns by repetition and trial and error to arrive at better and better solutions;

  • Team player, flexible, patient, and able to work cross-functionally, managing and motivating stakeholders.



  • Bachelor’s Degree or above, relevant major(business and technology) is preferred;

  • >5 years’ experience in sales function (FMCG and small appliance company preferred),

  • Experience in brands that are sold in hyper/super/speciality channels, or brands that are technology led will be preferred;
