Description

As a Business Development Manager you are tasked with delivering profitable growth and volume sales for Dyson's B2B business. You will identify and secure new business across Great Britain by creating and continually growing a pipeline of new accounts to deliver targeted sales growth. Geographical responsibilities for this role covers the whole of the UK but with a focus on the Midlands and North of England. 

Accountabilities

  • Work closely with the Inside Sales Team to provide data for target customers within the identified locations
  • Self-generate new business meetings with target customers within identified cities through multiple routes
  • Utilise relationships with third parties to generate new business meetings
  • Create and implement tactical sales and marketing activity
  • Seek to establish new and innovative ways to sell Dyson Professional (B2B) products into partners and direct customers
  • To manage all sales opportunities through the CRM and provide reports when requested
  • Deliver effective sales presentations through varying formats to third party customers


Skills

  • Proven track record of B2B new business sales generation
  • Excellent lead generation experience
  • Strong commercial experience including strong analytical ability
  • Effective, concise communicator who has excellent presentation skills
  • Assertive and able to overcome objections
  • Hungry for success
  • Experience in a product based environment desirable
