Reporting to: Global Head of Business Change Communications Based in: Malmesbury Salary: £Competitive plus performance related bonus Your primary objectives will be: Change and Data communications needs are understood and appropriate mechanisms for the delivery of relevant communication types are in place Executives communication needs are understood and the most effective mechanisms are in place Commercial Change Communications Strategy is defined and implemented Commercial Change Communications plan; including above and below the line communication to a regular rhythm, is defined and executed Commercial Change Communications resource needs at regional and market level are known, aligned to change programmes, and suitable people are in role to succeed Communication plans for the strategic programme initiatives are defined, appropriately owned and executed by the relevant programmes (support, oversight and staffing, if needed) Change communication success metrics are agreed and evaluation metrics are reported and circulated to showcase impact The Commercial Change Communication Lead will ensure the communication strategy and plan aligns with the Dyson Group Communication equivalent and relevant standards are adopted and implemented as needed.

Accountabilities


Supporting executives with communication packs for global ‘roadshows’ to promote new capability and ambitions related to the Commercial ChangeOwner Experience Improvement, including Strategic Insight, Media and Owner Experience strategies
Customer Service  transformation programme across Europe and APAC
Global E-commerce (DTC) platform
Ensuring the communication plans for the strategic programme initiatives are defined and appropriately owned and executed by the relevant programmes (support, oversight and staffing, if needed)
Working with markets and CoE teams to determine the approach to Commercial Change Communications resourcing at regional and market level; and to work to appoint the suitable people to the identified roles
Defining and owning the execution of an effective Commercial Change Communications plan; including above and below the line communication to a regular rhythm, aligned to the Commercial Change Roadmap
Defining the Commercial Change Communications Strategy, working with Group and Markets to implement this across Change, Data and Insights scope.
Working with executives to understand communication needs and determine most effective mechanisms to meet these needs in context of Commercial Change
Working with Change, Data and Insights teams to determine communications needs and appropriate mechanisms for the delivery of relevant communication types

Skills

  • Strong background in communications at a global scale
  • Experience with Transformation and / or Business Change communications; working with programmes and projects to execute communications to relevant audiences on a Commercial Change journey
  • Good knowledge of managing communications across multiple channels (including both online and offline), possibly aligned to a recognised Business Change Model (e.g. ADKAR)
  • Proven track record of devising and delivering marketing communications plans & strategies
  • Experience of building and managing a global, high performing team and supporting colleague development
  • Proven ability to deliver personally and to lead and manage others to do the same
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Demonstrable success in a fast moving, entrepreneurial retail / manufacturing, or similar, environment
  • Ideally, holds recognised certification or qualification in marketing and communications
  • Experience with presenting high level concepts in clear and accurate ways including Strategy; Business Updates; Status Reporting and Insights/Analytics
  • Preferable Agency experience enabling the management of multiple briefs/projects simultaneously and an ability to account manage project stakeholders 
  • Knowledge of cross-browser and various other testing processes
