Description

Dyson is recruiting a Customer Marketing Manager to join our GB Marketing Team. If you are a Trade, Channel or Retail Marketeer looking to develop your career and leadership experience then we’d love to hear from you. 
This role sits within the GB Customer Marketing Team, which is responsible for all retail marketing activity to provide a fantastic shopper experience across new and existing products and categories.

Accountabilities

You will plan, manage and deliver the cross channel marketing strategy for a select number of key retail partners in collaboration with the Dyson Sales team and account joint business plans. As the expert within Dyson on shopper behavior for these channels, you will develop and deliver national and bespoke marketing activity to improve shopper experience and drive Dyson sales. You will be accountable for a full year activation plan, marketing budget allocation and new product launches within your selected retail account. 
Reporting to the Head of GB Customer Marketing, you'll find satisfaction in being an integral part of a cross functional team, delivering first class retail experiences, building relationships and seeing a return on the investment with each retail partner. 
Accountabilities: 
  • Creating and owning the joint marketing plan for each retailer working with the account manager, brand team and retailer across all elements including in store point of sale, launch events and digital campaigns. 
  • Ensure alignment with the Dyson brand team’s marketing plan and retailer campaigns. 
  • Drive and own in-store marketing, working with the group Creative team and the GB creative hub. 
  • Ensure adherence to the Dyson Group direction by working closely with this team and utilising shopper insights to shape the retailer strategy. 
  • Own the digital agenda within retailers by linking with Dyson marketing campaigns and promotional activity across social, programmatic display and CRM programmes. 
  • Monitoring the marketing plan and elements outside the customer marketing budget to communicate status of the activity that falls within the sales team and brand budgets 
  • Development and coaching junior members of the team
  • Attend cross department meetings, providing insights from all retailers and suggestions on how to further develop the marketing strategy.

Skills

Experience:

  • Experience working within a Customer Marketing team, ideally within a Retail focused environment.
  • Experience managing a team.
  • Digital marketing experience: planning, executing and reporting on digital campaigns across social, programmatic and CRM.
  • Familiarity with digital performance metrics and marketing funnel KPIs.
  • Ownership of a budget/ P&L.
