About the role

The Role
Whilst pockets of insight and analytics exist, building our analytical capabilities is a core pillar of Dyson's global data strategy. As more consumers engage with Dyson, owning more types of products, and across more markets, the volumes of data is now vast. Understanding how to use this data to improve everything from customer experiences, campaign development and retailer business planning will all be key to Dyson’s success.This role sits within the EMEA Business Intelligence & Analytics team and is tasked with ensuring the timely and accurate provision of regional commercial data and responsibility for the maintenance of our master data.
Reporting to the Data Manager, you will be responsible for:
• Ensuring all data is entered in a timely and accurate manner
• Pro-active maintenance of master data
• Ensure the optimal use of available technology to support, enhance and simplify processes.
• Provide ad-hoc and regular reporting as required
• Delivering work items to specified timelines and requirements
• Support and maintenance of associated systems and processes

About you

Skills: • Analytical problem solver with strong attention to detail
• Knowledge of master data management requirements
• Desire to learn and embrace new technologies and their functionality
• Experience of using visualisation software e.g. Tableau (desirable)
• Advanced excel
• Experience with SAP BW and / or other DWH solutions (preferred)
• Experience or knowledge of commercial planning tools (preferred)

• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to think outside the box to find and present solutions
• Ability to work at a fast pace and to deadlines
• Enthusiasm to explore new technologies, methods and techniques
