The number of people using our core product development systems & tools in Dyson continues to grow steadily. Teamcenter, our enterprise product development system, has over 3,000 users. As the Dyson product portfolio continues to become more diversified, so too does the complexity of product data that supports our products.

Improving product data quality will play a key role in ensuring Dyson keeps producing the highest quality products.

The Data Quality Analyst is a key member of the product development community and is responsible for supporting the business in improving product data quality. Reporting to the PLM Data Quality Lead, you will play a critical part in ensuring integrity and trust in Product Development data. You will be responsible for:


  • Initiates and reviews audits of data processes and the adherence to Dyson principles relating to data
  • For each data quality project you will demonstrate key analytical skills such as initial analysis, identification of root cause, elicitation of requirements, solution definition & implementation and solution verification
  • You will help monitor the quality of data and conformity to the Dyson agreed format and may be required to help educate users on the correct formatting of data.
  • Constructing policies, processes, standards and data definitions to guide the technical implementation of data-related changes or processes in Dyson
  • You will be required to work closely with RDD development project teams to help & advise on management of product information.
  • You will take ownership of data quality incidents & requests logged related to
  • You will be expected to fix data where necessary & implement processes to remedy any data issues or clean up.
  • Supporting the rollout of the Dyson Data Governance Framework and driving its adoption and implementation across Dyson.
  • You will champion the importance of Data governance and Data quality within the business


  • Experience of engineering & manufacturing engineering processes
  • Experience of product development systems
  • Experience in Information Management
  • Good data analysis skills to perform data profiling activities
  • Experience in a data analysis or data governance role
