Within the Operation function, effectively managing the Demand Planning process for Italy, consolidating the 18 month rolling forecast for Finished Goods and Accessories and challenging commercial assumptions where appropriate, whilst managing the correct and timely submission in SAP/APO; working closely with the Sales (Retail, Direct and Professional) and Marketing teams, European Demand Planning, Finance Controller, Sales analyst and Logistics.


  • Provide objective, fact-based challenge to peers and senior stakeholders to obtain alignment of the 18 months rolling forecast for Iberia for Finished Goods and Accessories, considering the product range changes (launch, discontinuation) and  customer activities (national and account based activities in collaboration with Sales teams) and financial parameters (in collaboration with Financial Controller).

  • Gaining alignment of the 18 months rolling demand plan with the Iberia senior team and submitting volume forecast in SAP APO in alignment to Financial estimates in a timely manner

  • Providing analysis of latest forecast against last month, last year, year to date/year to go and volume budget/latest estimate by channel, by category, by SKU and by customer

  • Identifing opportunities and risks in the forecast

  • Issueing timely forecast accuracy reports, providing details of root causes and external factors affecting our demand, working on improving forecast accuracy measures.

  • Providing feedback to European Supply Chain team on demand plan variances and forecast performance in the forum of Demand Planning meetings

  • Creation of base line forecasts reflecting sound statistical modelling methodology using the demand planning functionality within APO

  • Owning and improving the demand planning processes and tools for Iberia in close collaboration with European Supply Chain team



  • Proven Supply Chain and Demand planning experience

  • Experienced in SAP & APO or similar SCM tools (desirable)

  • Numeric and analytical background

  • Solid knowledge of Excel

  • Fluent in English & Italian language
