Digital Content Lead

Manage the workload of 4 Content Administrators throughout the Digital Leap program. Be responsible for the day-to-day tasks required to produce all Owner Experience deliverables across Spare Parts, Troubleshooting and Support pages.


Project management

  • Be the main Owner Experience point of contact for other teams involved in the Digital Leap program 
  • Proactively seek out stakeholders and build relationships 
  • Be the voice of owner experience 
  • Work independently 
  • Report progress/issues regularly to stakeholders
  • Create detailed plans as to how Owner Experience deliverables will align with Digital Leap timelines, including sprints and release dates
  • Create a clear and accurate plan of all deliverables suitable for tracking progress and reporting. Align milestones with Digital Leap
  • Be adaptable to changing timelines and allocate resource accordingly
  • Identify issues effecting deliverables and report/escalate as necessary
  • Look for efficiencies and new ways of working to decrease resource needed for each rollout
  • Ensure direct reports are providing regular updates and highlighting challenges to the timelines
  • Produce accurate and concise reports on the status of all relevant deliverable for consumption by both the Owner Experience leadership team (and Leap leadership team) 
  • Adapt reporting as needed to changing launch dates and deliverables
  • Provide RAG status to Digital Leap leadership on a regular basis o Ensure any deviation from timelines is communicated to the Digital Leap program and Owner Experience leadership team 

Team leadership

  • Train new members of staff in relevant systems and ways of working to ensure consistency 
  • Continue to coach and provide support to direct reports
  • Identify new ways of working to strive for more efficiency, productivity and accuracy
  • Even distribution of workload
  • Delegate and distribute workload based on individual productivity and skill set with a view to up skill everyone in the team to the same level and encourage even distribution of work where ever possible
  • Monitor performance and carry out regular conversations to further team members development 
  • Encourage and support the team to use RPM time for personal development
  • Push high performers into new areas of work, using new systems to offer career development and ownership of responsibilities
  • Carry out monthly performance conversations – setting SMART goals and recording development

Content sign-off

  • Ownership of the spares and accessories shop, troubleshooting journeys and Maintenance and Guides/Your Dyson pages
  • Be efficient by using Dyson standards to ensure content is in a ‘signed off’ state before reviewing with stakeholders


  • Experience leading a large scale project with multiple stakeholders
  • Proven experience training people to use Content Management Systems 
  • Not afraid to challenge processes to find the most efficient way of working 
  • Ability to produce clear and concise status reports for business stakeholders, including accurate time and effort scales 
  • Proven experience in leading, coaching and supporting a team to drive efficiency and accuracy
