Dyson Hong Kong & Taiwan currently operates in the categories of Floor Care, Environmental Control (“Air Multiplier” bladeless fans/heaters/purifiers), Personal Care (Supersonic hair dryers, Airwrap hair styler, Corrale hair straightener), and Lighting. The business is operated via an exclusive distributor model.

Dyson is looking to recruit a Digtal Marketing Manager– Hong Kong & Taiwan. This is a pivotal role within the marketing organisation. Dyson is a fast paced and dynamic culture– an ideal candidate in this role will be a self-starter looking to make an immediate impact, innovate and drive the digital transformation.
The role will require strong knowledge in Taiwan and Hong Kong media landscape and digital strategy with a proven record of delivering market leading digital executions.
This role will report to Head of Marketing – Hong Kong & Taiwan. The role will be based in Hong Kong.
About the role
As digital marketing lead, you will be responsible for shaping the strategy and delivery of digital campaign solutions across paid, owned and earned channels. You will identify the opportunities to connect audience data across media platforms to drive growth on path to purchase, through partnership with various teams such as category marketing, e-commerce and PR.
Acquisition & Retention Strategy – Set the overall digital marketing strategy for Dyson, which identifies the long term vision and drivers. Partner with category leads and integrate digital channels into broader integrated marketing campaigns aimed at driving awareness, consideration, conversion and loyalty. Collaborate with the e-commerce function to create a strong demand capture strategy that drives online engagement and growth.
Digital Advertising – Manage local media agency to develop & implement campaigns that meet clearly defined commercial objectives. Establish strong media plans, channels and recommendations to achieve this. Ensure that the campaigns are on budget and performing as per the agreed KPIs. Conduct post-campaign analysis and learnings to inform content and media optimisation.
Social media – Work closely with social media agencies to devise & implement social strategy with a clear KPI, but not limited to community management and social care. Responsible for growing and engaging audiences on social platforms including Facebook, YouTube, LINE. Along with managing social media agency to maintain posting schedule, monitor and advice on social moderation service (Social Care). Manage LINE CRM program to drive registration mechanics to grow 1st Party database and develop customer-centric functions to enhance owner experience.
Measurement, reporting & optimization – Work with global teams and local digital agencies to ensure that appropriate mechanisms are in place to measure the effectiveness of all Dyson online marketing activities including, measures for display, social and PPC activity. Ensure that reporting delivers business insight that can be used to optimize campaigns on the go, as well as driving test initiatives and the development of future campaigns. Communicate top level online performance, learning and insights to the wider team on an ongoing basis.
Experience and Education
- Bachelor’s Degree above
- 5-8 years digital marketing experience and social management, preferably in Taiwan market
- Hands-on experience of planning and operating digital media and content campaigns
- Expertise in media planning, search and analytics is a must
Experience of working in MNC and international experience preferred;
- Entrepreneurial mindset and results oriented
- Motivated self-starter, enjoy fast pace and dynamic environment
- Multi project handling skills with hands-on attitude

- Passionate about digital and social media
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and cross functional relationships; openness to collaboration and feedback
- A good project manager who can lead external media/creative agencies
- Outstanding data analytics skills and strong business acumen - being able to form hypothesis first and then connect dots to dig out the insights and identify opportunity business.
- Good communication skills, both written & verbal
- Fluency in English, Mandarin, Cantonese
- Microsoft applications, Google Analytics, Google DV360, Social media monitoring tools is a plus, e.g. Sprinklr, LINE API
The role will initially be based in Hong Kong, with frequent travel required to Taiwan. Long term ambition is for this role to be based in Taiwan, so candidates need to be mobile.
