Description

Your role as Divisional Retail Sales Manager is to drive world-class execution and commercial performance across our third party retail customers, and you will do this through a team of 4 Regional Retail Managers, and over 50 Dyson Demonstrators based in-store across central England.

Accountabilities

  • As our Divisional Retail Sales Manager you will have accountability for four Regional Retail Managers and through the Regional Retail Managers around 50 in-store demonstrators
  • You will set the strategic vision and outline clear objectives that will deliver double digit value growth and strong return on investment for Dyson Retail 
  • Collaboration with internal functions and a commitment to get it right is imperative to ensure that all of our NPD and Campaign launches are executed with excellence and activated within our retailers
  • You will pro-actively analyse divisional sales out data, market trends and competitor information, identifying sales opportunities and anticipating obstacles.  Working cross-functionally you will use this commercial analysis to develop and lead the execution of short and long term initiatives that add value
  • Through your team you will deliver high retail standards, compliance, and customer experience in line with our brand positioning and reputation
  • With our daring growth plans we need people who can grow at pace with us; This role will be remotely based covering central England. Mobility and weekend working is critical to this role and travel to Dyson HQ in Malmesbury is required on a regular basis

Skills

  • You will be degree educated with a 2:1 classification or equivalent 
  • You will be comfortable thinking on your feet and finding your own path and ways of working
  • Commercially-minded, you'll enjoy having big strategic conversations both internally and externally, as well as getting stuck in at ground level to make things happen
  • You will have extensive experience working to and exceeding targets, as well as a consistent track record in developing a high performing and engaged management team
  • You will have extensive experience leading leaders, and being able to drive sustainable performance through a high performing team
  • You will come from a proven big-box Retail Management, Regional, or Divisional Retail background within a customer focused retail environment
