As a Dyson Expert you will be an integral part of a high performing sales team. You will be allocated to a specific store and will be accountable for achieving a sales volume target while also proactively looking to increase Dyson’s store presence by negotiating Dyson space in your allocated store. 
Based in the stores of our retail partners in Sydney Metro and Greater Sydney, this fun, dynamic role is perfect for those with a passion for the latest technology, and who love building relationships with store colleagues and customers alike.


1. Drive sales through the promotion of Dyson products 
  • Take the customer on the journey of buying a Dyson product with engaging approach, questioning to understand their needs and wants and showcasing Dyson technology with an impact demonstration
  • Achieve weekly, monthly and quarterly sales volume targets by category
  • Actively look for opportunities to increase Dyson in-store presence by negotiating incremental off location displays in line with national objectives
  • Execute and display Dyson POS material in-store
  • Maintain Dyson stock levels
  • Ensure all Dyson products are on display correctly, are clean and tidy and in working order at the start and end of your shift - reporting issues with the display stand
2. Build brand advocacy with customers and store staff
  • Using your thorough knowledge of Dyson products and your passion for the brand, explain to customers why Dyson is different
  • Actively build relationships with store management and staff 
  • Train and update store staff where appropriate
  • Seek out information on competitor products to communicate effectively and professionally the benefit of owning a Dyson product 
  • Identify and report back to the Regional Manager any opportunity for greater in store exposure and/or team training requirements
3. Performance Reporting 
  • Report on a daily basis on sales vs. target
  • Provide comprehensive feedback on products, sales, promotions and customer feedback, with relevant solutions
  • Complete accurate reporting at the request of the Regional Manager & escalating issues in a timely manner


  • Excellent Customer Service and/or Sales Experience
  • Ability to build strong working relationships
  • Proven track record in sales / excellent customer service skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate complex information simply
  • Capability to engage customers and create brand awareness
  • Ability to work independently, manage your time effectively and multi-task
  • Determination, passion and a natural drive for results
