Description

Reporting to the Global End User Computing Manager, you will be responsible for the architectural ownership of all End User Computing Solutions. Working alongside our strategic End User Computing Partner you will define the end user computing roadmap that delivers in line with the needs of the Dyson end user and the rest of the global IT towers.

Accountabilities

  • You will own and deliver against an End User Computing (EUC) roadmap
  • Review the EUC technical designs and recommendations from our EUC partner, creating EUC technical designs and providing architectural solutions
  • Delivering EUC technology showcases to Dyson and assist with the preparation of business cases for EUC related projects
  • You will advise an participate in Dyson’s technical design authority
  • Work with the EUC Manager to develop and deliver short, medium and long-term roadmaps for end user computing services that will generate a significant, positive impact on profitability and strategic direction, through improved stability, capacity management, quality and cost effectiveness.
  • You will support in defining, implementing and communicating a global end user computing strategy for Dyson and ensure that it remains current and fit for purpose
  • Ensure that all the end user computing designs are created within the bounds of Dyson’s policies and any global legislative compliance e.g. GDPR, PCI, local laws etc
  • You will effectively manage global end user computing risks and issues
  • Ensure that global areas are enhanced via end user computing solutions in order to support the Dyson product delivery strategy

Skills

  • Strong Architecture experience of Microsoft Office 365 and Azure to include security compliance and information rights management
  • Strong Architecture experience of one or more MDM platforms (AirWatch, Intune etc.)
  • Proven background in supporting user mobility and agile working environments
  • Solid working knowledge in the following areas: Network Design (LAN, WAN, Cisco ISE networks, SIP trunks)
  • Operating System Deployment tools (JAMF, SCCM etc.), MDM, AD topology, AD Group Policy, File & Print, Video Conferencing systems, Microsoft and Amazon based cloud services
  • Experience with the following operating systems: Windows Server, Windows 10, macOS and Linux
  • Problem-solving experience involving identifying, researching, and coordinating the resources necessary to effectively troubleshoot/diagnose complex project issues; prior success extracting/translating findings into alternatives/solutions; and identifying risks/impacts and schedule adjustments to facilitate management decision-making
