Executive Search at Dyson is fast-paced, quality-driven and satisfyingly challenging. We are now looking for a talented Researcher to join our growing team, where you will be responsible for identifying, approaching and assessing candidates on a global basis across all functions.
Reporting to the Global Head of Executive Search and supporting the Executive Search Partners on senior level assignments, you will be pivotal to our search process and will be based at our UK Head Office in Malmesbury.

  • You’ll provide invaluable support and market insights to the Global Head of Executive Search and Executive Search Partners on senior-level assignments
  • You’ll have ownership of the research phase elements of the assignment including search strategies, market mapping, candidate identification and market intelligence. This will be on a global basis across all functions
  • You’ll proactively promote a positive presence in the executive talent space, representing Dyson to an exceptional standard externally, whilst keeping up to date with market trends 
  • Responsible for conducting and maintaining company mapping of industry talent, you will also approach relevant candidates and project-manage the search process 
  • You will have responsibility for producing weekly progress documents, candidate calibration reports and presenting your search recommendations to the team 
  • Utilising your network, you will make well-placed sourcing calls and will conduct initial telephone screening calls with prospective candidates 
  • Using data, you’ll measure success in the various sourcing channels and be able to proactively advise on strategy and recommend improvements 
  • You’ll have a keen awareness of diversity and actively encourage diverse talent pools


  • A minimum of 18 months experience as a Researcher either in-house or agency side 
  • Experience working on international assignments
  • Have the ability to think creatively and be an excellent problem-solver
  • A passionate self-starter; driven to make things happen
  • Strong commercial acumen and the capability to thrive under ambiguity
  • Be well-organised, adaptable and able to prioritise
  • Have an inquisitive mind and an interest in business and current affairs
  • A rigorous and methodical approach to search with the flexibility to adapt to ever changing business needs
  • Have a confident telephone manner and excellent communication skills with a positive can-do attitude
