About the role

This is a global role ensuring the ongoing success and growth of Dyson through the delivery of an efficient, effective and scalable HR service delivery model across the organisation. The Global HR Process and Service Delivery Change Manager will act as the driver and Subject Matter Expert for implementing the new model and HR business processes within the parameters of a wider business transformation of which this forms a part.  It is a high-profile role working with senior stakeholders from across HR, Finance and Procurement and will need to deliver at pace to meet the timescales required.  In true Dyson style, whilst operating at a strategic level this role will also need to ensure delivery of any changes and be ‘hands on’.
The role reports to the Global Director of HR Operations, currently based in Malmesbury.  The role does not have any direct reports, although it’s sphere of influence is wide.
Responsibilities:
  • Drive and deliver global HR service delivery transformation as part of a wider transformation programme across HR
  • Work with the wider transformation programme team and Global Director of HR Operations to decide on the right approach for service delivery to meet the strategic needs of the business
  • Create and deliver a plan for implementing the service delivery model (whether in sourced or outsourced)
  • Work virtually with key HR stakeholders across the globe to support and deliver the changes required
  • Deliver process transformation by supporting the design of new business processes where appropriate focusing on driving efficiency and improving levels of service
  • Support with the effective implementation of a framework to measure the effectiveness of the model
  • Ensure the documentation of all procedures and processes 
  • Take a lead role in the transition to a share service model including training, knowledge transfer, testing, go live, stabilisation and critical care

About you

  • Experienced in using Workday
  • Understands and has practical experience of Shared Service operating models 
  • A track record of driving process and deliver transformation in a global organisation 
  • Ability to get ‘hands on’ and design, implement and document business processes and workflows
  • Strong project management and investigative skills, showing restless curiosity and questioning of the status quo
  • Ability to deliver at pace, able to evaluate and prioritise and make decisions fast, balancing off the needs of multiple and possibly conflicting stakeholders
  • Self-motivated, able to work autonomously and collaborate with teams around the world
  • Logical thinker with clear and effective communication skills including the ability to create and compelling presentations and liaise and influence effectively at all levels,
  • Ability to think through a strategic approach but also delve into the detail when required
  • Experience of working in a complex and fast-moving global organisation

This is a fixed term contract until April 2022
