Description

As we continue our Global IT PMO Transformation, our PMO analysts will be responsible for shaping the build and implementation of the capabilities within their respective pillars. They will be also provide instrumental support to the delivery of change projects and programmes across Global IT Business Application Services, a key growth area for Dyson that has strategic importance in the overall business transformation strategy.

Accountabilities

  • Supporting the development, implementation and embedding of new ways of working within the Investment Stewardship capability pillar while identifying areas for improvement within existing processes 
  • Improving our Investment Stewardship capabilities, specifically: Business Case Challenge and Approval, Tracking Project Finances, Supporting the Head of Business Partnering and Head of Portfolio Management with structuring and managing our Portfolios and Programmes 
  • Support the Global IT PMO Leads to promote the use of established principles, methods, systems and processes across Global IT Application Business Services 
  • Build strong relationships with both internal (i.e. Global IT Application Business Services) and external (e.g. the IT Strategy and Transformation team) to influence thinking, drive outcomes and deliver greater ways of working for Global IT PMO 
  • Own end to end procure to pay process; raising and monitoring Purchase Orders, ensuring timely Goods Receipting, managing invoice queries, and weekly status reporting 
  • Planview / SAP Administration; Pre and Post month end activities, migrating Capex reports into SharePoint, maintaining Programme register Financial Reporting; produce monthly portfolio report and facilitate review meeting, reviewing and challenging variance commentary, reviewing and challenging programme forecasts

Skills

  • Solid understanding of programme and project management methods
  • Excellent knowledge of financial processes and associated tools (e.g. SAP) · Strong analytical skills with excellent ability to present information verbally and visually via a variety of tools 
  • Clear communication skills – can understand high level concepts and fill in the detail themselves, able to convey complex massages to large audiences 
  • Demonstrable experience of analysing and reporting complex Portfolio / Programme finances 
  • Able to prioritise workload to consistently hit strict deadlines while occasionally completing urgent ad hoc tasks
