Working with the HR Business Partner this role provides a high quality, accurate and efficient HR administrative and advisory service to the market. Working closely with business stakeholders and 3rd party providers, this role ensures the end to end HR processes throughout the employment lifecycle are dealt with in a proactive and efficient way.

Our employees are the heart of our business, and that doesn't stop with HR. Aside from support from your line manager, the HR Business Partner, you’ll be supported by the wider HR team and have access to all our Learning and Development Programmes.

Accountabilities

  • Provide day-to-day HR advice and support to managers and employees keeping Netherlands & Belgium employment law knowledge current and relevant. Give advice on HR policies, processes, employee relations and best practice in line with company values
  • Ensure the end-to-end HR processes are managed in a compliant and accurate way    throughout the employment lifecycle. 
  • Lead the HR relationship with the retail teams and act as the main contact for key partners. Develop effective relationships with senior managers and teams, establishing yourself as a credible, respected and valued HR partner 
  • Own the delivery of key people processes such as working with Payroll Provider, absence and company doctor, pension provider and the central medical insurance provider
  • Use Workday to manage changes in employee contracts, reporting structures and reward. In addition, produce reports for key employee metrics, identifying, investigating and flagging possible implications of issues/trends that show up.
  • Support the HR Business Partner in the planning and implementation of employee engagement activities, HR projects and initiatives that support the Dyson People strategy/local plans (e.g. wellness, training calendar, engagement events, implementing new benefit) 
  • Proactively spot/implement opportunities to improve team ways of working and supporting employees, identify problems and find solutions.

  • You are passionate about making Dyson a brilliant place to work. You have a great sense of service, you are concerned about the well-being of your colleagues
  • Rigorous, structured and organised, you know how to priorities requests in order to deliver against deadlines
  • Able to work in a global matrix environment understanding the pressures, deadlines and flexibility required.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office computer skills. Experience with Workday a plus. 
  • An understanding of Netherlands & Belgium employment law
  • You will have exceptional organisational skills, ability to multitask, work at pace whilst maintaining an excellent attention to detail. 
  • Determined to identify solutions and be prepared to overcome obstacles to follow through plans to completion; focused on delivery
  • Ability to communicate and articulate complex data confidently
  • Excellent written and spoken Dutch and English
