Based in Singapore this role reports to the HRBP Lead (based in the UK) and will partner closely with the local leadership team to build and implement tactical people plans.
Work with the HRBP Lead and Head of Operations to define the organizational design and the associated growth plan.
Determine Talent availability within the relevant country and region and work closely with Talent Acquisition and Early Careers functions on immediate and longer term sourcing strategies including partnering with government and educational institutions to support and develop local talent pools.
Based on identified talent gaps, establish training strategies both internally and through external partnerships with educational and skills development bodies.
Work with the HRBP Lead to define, source and mobilize a team of key operations staff to engage in early stage build in the UK.
Work in partnership with the Global Mobility team to facilitate the movement of talent around Dyson’s global sites.
Build the People function and infrastructure in partnership with the HRBP Lead.
Engage with government bodies on the immediate and longer term staffing needs and specifically requirements for foreign versus local employees.
Provide input into the design and layout of manufacturing facility with a view to promoting productivity, engagement and well-being.
Establish programs and initiatives to build a positive, engaging and high performing culture from the recruitment of the first employee through to fully established operations.
People plans; develop and integrate the people dimension into business planning and support delivery of the global People Blueprint.
Coach, influence, up-skill and encourage senior leaders and line managers to deliver a people experience that’s as good as our products.
Master / Bachelor Degree in Human Resources or related discipline.
At least 10 yrs experience as a true HR generalist where you have provided HR support to a business in a global, matrix organisation.
Experience in OEM facilities particularly large scale, green-field projects.
HR partnering experience at a senior level - typically supporting professional client groups with past experience of engaging and influencing senior and challenging stakeholders.
Experienced at delivering high volume, resourcing and talent strategies and projects.
Strong change leadership experience - has provided frameworks, influence and challenge to senior teams to identify and drive through organisation change in a variety of scenarios.
Comfortable at working with speed, pragmatism and professionalism, ideally in an entrepreneurial culture.
Conceptual thinker who can quickly absorb and connect complex, multiple data points and issues.
