The HR Coordinator and Team Assistant will be responsible for supporting the UK RDD and Operations HR function, the Engineering heart of Dyson. They will report to the Global HR Director RDD & Ops who is based in UK and partner with the RDD & Ops HRBP teams to provide coordination and administrative support across the function.
As in every fast-growing business, there is a need for each individual to be both hands-on and executional.  This role will have specific responsibility within the UK, reporting into the Global leader. However, as part of the global team the person will interact with key business stakeholders, and HR teams globally.
We’re looking for a strong team player with good relationship and communication skills as well as excellent technical skills as listed below.  This is a diverse role that will provide you the opportunity to grow and develop as you get involved in a range of activities providing high quality coordination and support, working with the HR leadership team to ensure successful delivery of business as usual activities as well as supporting with ad-hoc events.  

Accountabilities

  • Coordinating team activities and events as required by the RDD & Operations HR leadership team.
  • General administration to support the RDD & Operations HR function 
  • General ad-hoc travel/expenses/room booking support for the RDD & Operations HR leadership team
  • Support BAU and transformation activities with administrative support – raising POs, event coordination, etc.
  • Coordinating and integrating activities and projects from across the function – ensuring efficiency and awareness of current and upcoming workload
  • Coordinate and create the monthly reporting for the RDD & Operations HR Leadership team
  • Support in the preparation for senior stakeholder presentations
  • Support in the monitoring and control of the RDD & Operations HR budget

  • Ability to meet fluctuating deadlines at short notice and willing to be flexible to reach deadlines
  • Strong IT skills to include MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint (intermediate level)

Person Specification
  • Experienced Coordinator/Assistant 
  • Experience in managing, co-ordinating and administering teams and senior leaders
  • (Desired) experience in working within a project team
