Known internally as the Insights and Conversions Manager this role will help drive the strategic direction of the Direct Business as it continues to play a key role in the Dyson 5 year plan. This involves (but not limited to) the involvement with 4 of Dyson's transaction websites, market sites and the Dyson Outlet stores.


In this role you will;

This Optimisation Management role will work closely with the Head Of Direct to analyze our Direct Performance and find breakthroughs in our customer journeys to help improve the overall experience for our customers. This is done using and utilizing a variety of data sources and executing experiments to improve conversion rates.

  • Use Analytical tools to review performance and provide recommendations on where opportunity exists to grow Dyson Direct business 
  • Optimise and improve conversion throughout all Direct channels 
  • Lead regular Direct performance updates
  • Use various reporting tools to draw out the business implications & use this insight to drive the development of Direct websites and share learning’s with the wider business. 
  • Analyse major promotions and report on impact from a traffic, conversion and financial perspective 
  • Work cross functionally to optimise future promotions and exceptions using previous analysis and learning 
  • Embed and lead a regular review process of learning and recommendations 
  • Drive the conversion rate of all channels using previous analysis and recommendations 
  • Embed A/B testing and use these insights to drive growth in conversion 
  • Develop relationships with Global teams to understand other markets learning and processes 
  • Drive Google Analytics understanding and insights throughout Direct team 
  • Develop consistent and regular reports to help wider team to understand trajectory and past performance


  • Degree level (or equivalent) ideally in Marketing, Business or web related subject 
  • Extensive E-Commerce experience, including online environments in multiple sectors 
  • Channel management experience and an understanding of e-commerce, conversion technology solutions and digital marketing 
  • Hands on experience with conversion optimisation and Analytics platforms
