Description

Working as part of the HR Operations team, this role provides high quality, accurate and efficient LMS administrative services to Dyson Globally.  


Accountabilities

LMS System administration:

Responsible for the running of the Global solution for Learning Management, to include, but not limited to:

  • Quarterly releases – Identifying how the release updates impact the solution, providing the link to the wider business stakeholders and to manage the update, testing and content updates as required
  • System issues – Provide 1st line query management for all LMS training related questions, dealing with issues raised to identify the route cause and necessary onward route to solution, identifying creative solutions to routine or repeat queries. Inputting to the global Product Support team to raise incidents for issues/defects identified
  • System Configuration – Manage the core preferences and configurations, particularly providing a change management process to ensure changes are appropriate and well thought through and change impact is always assessed. Responsible for Security administration for roles, permissions and constraints. Administering drop down menus, custom fields and audience groups
  • Governance – Responsible for regular audits of the system, namely security role audits, regular reviews of external trainers, and managing learning version control
  • Org Units and User Records – Supporting the process of Org Unit changes, understanding the impact to the integration inbound data feed, investigating fallout from integrations and managing external trainer users and companies. Managing users groups that sit outside of the integrations
  • Third party management – Managing the regular contact with our third party provider and intermediary as necessary, inputting into the renewal process as required, working with the Client Success Manager to develop and improve the platform for Dyson, and ensuring regular service review meetings occur
  • Business Support: Supporting training when required, inputting to the new content management process and providing a link with the Talent Development team and their strategy

Continuous improvement:

  • Process - Challenge administrative processes to improve ways of working and provide a more effective service. Identify route cause of issues that arise and seek solutions and preventative measures
  • Collaboration - Work closely and collaborate with the wider HR teams, such as Talent Development, HR Operations, HRIS team and Recruitment
  • Build networks with client groups in the business and other stakeholders as required especially when new programmes of content or functional activity is transferring over to the platform
  • System development – Inputting to the Client forums, and identifying where Dyson can use the system to fuller capabilities. Attending Client conferences and related networking opportunities to encourage further and more developed use of the platform

Team Leader:

  • Management - Provide first line management for the team of LMS Administrators, training and coaching team members and supporting their ongoing development
  • Escalations - Manage escalations and support the team with complex queries
  • Workload - Manage workloads and identify priorities and peaks of activity such as annual compliance activity


Skills


• Prior LMS system admin experience (ideally cornerstone)• Excellent attention to detail • Strong IT skills to include MS Word, Excel (intermediate level),PowerPoint and Outlook• Exceptional organisational skills and ability to work under pressure• Able to prioritise high workload volumes and multitask where necessary• Ability to meet fluctuating deadlines at short notice and willing to be flexible to reach deadlines• Able to make sound decisions utilising information and knowledge of HR systems and processes• A motivator of others• Able to lead a team whilst still providing hands on administrative support• Efficient and results focussed• Excellent verbal & written communication skills • Drive and enthusiasm to succeed and improve• Confidentiality and displays discretion• Strong team player but with the ability to work independently• Ability to build and maintain relationships and provide a high level of customer service
