The Finance team plays a key part in the businesses commercial success. We provide vital business partnering support. We are also responsible for creating and monitoring the framework of financial processes and controls that define how we operate financially, and providing performance insights through reporting and analysis that influence how we operate commercially.
The Finance Analyst partners with the Business, in particular the sales teams in both the Retail and Online channels to ensure that the sales activities deliver value for the company. In addition, he/she ensures excellence in accounting and business operations around the co-advertisement budget, which is very critical given its size and significance. He/she will be also owning the sales targets, making sure that the sales team gets frequent and accurate updates on the status.
About the role
Business Partnering with the Sales teams
This role will be responsible for ensuring that accounting and planning systems are working on the basis of the latest agreements and plans.
Assists the finance team in project execution to develop new skills in analytical insight, efficiency and control.
Analysis of product categories to influence the volume, price and impact of plans, in particular in assessing Return on Investment (ROI) on executed acitivities
Performance analysis at product level, identifying growth opportunities and associated collaboration with demand planning
Interface to the business controller with focus on sales controlling and the entire company, as well as its support and representation
Work together with the KAMs on the promo planning and gap closing activities
Fully own the Co-Advertisement Budget
Ensure transparency on the Co-Advertising budget across all stakeholders including senior leadership.
Provide quality input to the other members of the team on Co-Advertising so that the right accruals can be built at month end and right budgets are provided for in the financial forecast.
Act as a bridge between accounting (FCoE/ Accenture) and the local sales team to make sure all claims are processed on time.
Regularly issue updates on status vs sales targets at account and door level are communicated to the sales team
· Min 2 years experience of working in a high performing organization ideally within the Retail or FMCG industry
· Evidence of budget control and can demonstrate financial expertise
· SAP Experience
· Excellent excel skills
· Good understanding of SAP FI Module
· Good understanding of Balance Sheet and P&L
· Methodical business planning capability
· Understanding of the Swiss trade landscape
· Result driven self starter who sees things to completion
