Description

Helping to Grow Dyson by Growing our People, you will be an integral part of bringing this vision to life by supporting a huge range of learning interventions both digital and face to face across Dyson worldwide. It’s a hugely exciting time to join Dyson and specifically the newly formed Talent and Learning function. As part of the central Learning & Development team you’ll work in a small team to bring process and order to a group of creative and innovative specialists! You will also have remit to support the wider Talent Development team furthering your impact and experience within the role.

We’re looking for a dynamic team player with good relationship and communication abilities as well as excellent skills as listed below.  This is a diverse role that will provide you the opportunity to grow and develop as you get involved in a range of activities providing high quality coordination and support.  


Accountabilities

  • Coordinating and integrating Learning activities and projects from across the team – ensuring efficiency and awareness of current and upcoming workload 
  • Coordinating external learning suppliers in their delivery of face to face interventions
  • Scheduling and managing team calendar and workflows
  • Facilitating communications and functional analysis
  • End to End management of learning engagement events
  • General Learning and Development Administration and duties
  • General ad-hoc travel/room booking/venue booking support for the wider team
  • Responsibility for overseeing and responding to queries and requests from the organisation with support from the wider team
  • Coordination of PO process and spend tracking

Skills

• Excellent attention to detail• Strong IT skills to include MS Word, Excel (intermediate level)• Understanding of Learning Management Systems (ideally Cornerstone on Demand)• Exceptional organisational skills • Ability to meet fluctuating deadlines at short notice and willing to be flexible to reach deadlines• Understanding of Learning and Development and its importance within organisational transformation
Person Specification• Experienced Coordinator • Experience, co-ordinating and administering teams • (Desired) experience in working within a Learning & Development team
