Description

Reporting to the European Logistics Manager and working alongside several Logistics Coordinators, the Logistics Analyst is responsible for stock management in our two largest European warehouses.

Breaking down the costs of the invoices to the required granularity from each warehouse, ensuring accurate charges are applied and challenging costs when needed. They will also be called upon by Market and Regional Managers to provide accurate cost and volume reports.

The successful candidate will be based at our Malmesbury campus but regular travel to the European markets and warehouses is required (sometimes with short notice!)

Accountabilities

    Expenditure Management         
    • Budgetary Reporting
    • Invoice breakdown to market/channel level and produce metrics down to CPU level
    • Providing Market data and analysis for budgets and contracts
    • Invoicing for goods lost in transit
    Stock Management
    • Daily warehouse stock reconciliation
    • Defining processes for Stock Management
    • Management of inbound order receipting to avoid discrepancies in stock
    Project Support
    • Identification and Implementation of change opportunities
    • Update and review of departmental working processes
    • Close working relationship with the EU Business Change team to develop and implement new systems and processes
    Order Management
    • Creating urgent deliveries for markets
    • Ensuring overdue or out of stock orders are handled quickly to avoid customer impact
    • Managing errors with warehouse to ERP transmissions to prevent delays to customer order updates
    • Liaising between market and warehouse for order cancellations
    • Processing manual returns for goods lost in transit

    • Direct Overdue Orders
    • EU Metrics
    • Report KPI Maintenance
    SAP ERP System
    • Trouble shooting SAP processes and issues
    • SAP Training of European teams
    • SAP EU Expert
    • Escalation of any system issues and inform stakeholders through to successful resolution

    Skills

    • Advanced user of MS Excel including pivot tables, formulae, lookup tables, PowerPivot DAX, queries and a basic knowledge of VBA
    • Willingness to learn and develop processes
    • SAP working knowledge
    • Easily adaptable to change
    • Good verbal and written communication
    • Highly numerate
    • Experiences within a Supply Chain and Operations environment is desirable
