About us

Dyson’s Global IT applications service has end-to-end accountability for the design, delivery and support of all business applications enabling Dysons global commercial, operational and enterprise business process. Forming a large proportion of the IT Function, the team are arranged into investment areas including Owner Experience and Retail, Engineering Operations, (Product development, Supply Chain and Manufacturing) and Enterprise (Finance, Legal, Compliance, HR).

About the role

You'll partner closely with business stakeholders, product owners, project managers, internal/external developers, strategic partners and 3rd party vendors. In this role you'll shape, manage and own the operational landscape for business applications across global Dyson (including service catalogue, disaster recovery, business continuity planning  and service tiering). You'll naturally provide routine senior level reviews on operational status, risks, issues and trends coupled with financial stewardship for application budgets, including forecast vs actual and investment planning with key stakeholders. 
You'll shape, manage and own the Service Transition process for business applications across global Dyson and alongside this shape, manage and own the Knowledge Management and Application Access Management process for business applications across global Dyson. You'll also work with the Architecture teams to define and shape application road maps and maintain alignment with Dyson Global IT principles and DevOps operating framework.

About you

You'll have experience and a proven track record of managing complex suites of business applications and be comfortable defining and implementing organisational changes and processes globally. You'll thrive when leading, coaching and mentoring IT operational professionals and be able to build credible relationships with global stakeholders. You'll also be a natural when it comes to managing strategic partners and 3rd party vendor performance.
