About us

The new Dyson Business Services (DBS) organisation will provide process and service excellence to support Dyson’s growth ambitions with a goal of innovating and enhancing services over time to meet the changing needs of the business.  This role will be part of the Programme team that leads the transition to this new organisation, a programme that covers the building of new DBS Centres, the transitioning of existing teams and creating new services in the new Dyson DBS Centres.
This is a crucial Programme role that will shape and drive the programme plan and surrounding governance processes and documents. The role will work closely with the Programme Director, DBS work-stream leads and other central Programme Management teams in the Dyson business. 

About the role

Programme Governance: 

  • Design and set-up of Programme governance, including decision-making, design and delivery forums 
  • Management of the Programme transition plan, including milestone updates, risk and inter-dependency management.  
  • Close collaboration with and support to the Programme Director and workstream leads to track and manage delivery 
  • Proactive management of the programme RAID log ensuring that risks are properly impact assessed and mitigating actions defined and tracked 
  • Provide hands-on support to programme governance, meetings and reporting 


Programme Status Reporting:

  • Creation and presentation of regular status reporting both within and outside of the Programme 
  • Input to associated Programme status reports on behalf of DBS 
  • Creation and distribution of materials for key governance forums 
  • Maintain project management templates and tools to allow for the smooth and efficient running of the Programme

  • Wider organisational change programmes in Dyson 
  • Functional Leadership Teams 

About you

  • Must have experience in standing up and providing PMO Lead support to large, complex global organisation change programmes, preferably including the off shoring of processes and roles 
  • Must be able to demonstrate the ability to operate independently to shape and develop successful programme plans and content 
  • Knowledge and experience of Finance. HR, Procurement and End User Computing processes would be an advantage 
  • Ability to adapt plans and activities in line with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment is essential

This is a fixed term contract for 12 months
