Product Owner (Owner Experience)

Reporting into the Commercial Delivery Director within the Planning and Ops function the successful candidate will be responsible for owning a number of pivotal Owner Experience projects, planning, leading, organising, and motivating the Owner Experience team in order to achieve a high level of performance and delivery.

The successful candidate will be expected to have strong interpersonal skills, ability to support and engage senior managers, as well as manage and build strong working relationships with key stakeholders across the business. Dyson Product Owners must be flexible, confident self-starters, problem solvers, enjoy removing blockers and be very comfortable with change.


  • Create a backlog of requirements to shape the ongoing experience for our owners. The owner experience is the ‘product’ that the product owner will shape, prioritise and deliver
  • Prioritising the UX and Design for the project and ensuring it meets Dyson exceptional standards
  • Maintain a vision for the product and communicate that vision to the scrum team
  • Work with the BA team to create the full UX and Design product backlog and will ensure all business requirements are met within the User Stories and Epics (discovery phase)
  • Work with the Creative Director and Head of Experience Design to define the delivery roadmap and prioritise the backlog to ensure we are able to deliver within our global timeframes in light of owner and commercial benefit
  • Provide reporting to key team members and senior stakeholders across all of the Commercial backlog and project deliverables
  • Ensure the sprint is protected once sprint goals have been defined and the sprint has started
  • Work with the various insight teams to drive through the right UX and Design changes
  • Work with the Scrum Master to assign Jira user stories to the correct Design resource


  • You will either be operating as a BA, Scrum Master or Product Owner either in a mobile app or digital media agency or an online retail brand with an omni channel presence
  • Proven experience of working in an agile environment
  • Experience of back and front office applications with understanding of business process management
  • A positive and impactful communicator
  • Ability to make pragmatic decisions about business priorities in a fast-moving environment
  • Excellent commercial acumen, comfortable with numbers and basic analytics
  • A proven ability to balance and champion business, brand and customer needs
  • Comfortable speaking to both technical and non-technical teams
  • Confidence to make clear and well-thought recommendations to influence decisions
