As Senior Student Recruitment Officer, you’ll oversee and implement the Recruitment and Admissions plan, ensuring that The Dyson Institute attracts and recruits gifted and talented students with a passion for engineering from across the UK. You’ll also have line management responsibility for the Recruitment & Admissions Officer and Coordinator.

About the role
Deliver the admissions process for applicants, ensuring we are transparent, fair, consistent, accessible and impressive, at all assessment stages.
Deliver an enquirer and applicant experience that reflects the excellent customer service Dyson is known for.
Work with The Dyson Institute team on a seamless and engaging conversion, pre-joining, onboarding, and enrolment process.
Oversee the implementation of the attraction campaign, including school leaver outreach activity, events and marketing collateral, to raise the profile of The Dyson Institute.
Oversee the activity planned to engage students, teachers, careers advisors and parents, ensuring that we recruit the best applicants.
Oversee the relationship with The James Dyson Foundation to understand existing school relationships and opportunities to promote alternative higher education routes through their activity.
Build good relationships with the Dyson People team, including global Early Careers Talent Acquisition and Talent Attraction, to share knowledge and best practice.
Build relationships with the wider Dyson Institute Team and undergraduate community, to raise awareness and resource/support for Recruitment and Admissions activity.
Provide recruitment activity progress updates to interested parties across Dyson to raise the profile of The Dyson Institute internally.
Supervise and support the Undergraduate Recruitment & Admissions Officer and Professional Development & Undergraduate Experience Coordinator in undertaking their roles.
Encourage continuous improvement mindset by encouraging feedback on processes and opportunities to implement change.
Provide ongoing professional development conversations to identify strengths and recognise development areas, to formulate a plan for development.
Experience in apprenticeship/early careers recruitment or university recruitment and admissions.
Demonstrable experience of managing multiple projects and managing competing demands, in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and collaborative working.

This role is a 9 month fixed-term contract covering a maternity leave.
