Description

As a Regional Retail Manager you will drive engagement and compliance within our retailer partners' stores, and build further awareness of the Dyson brand across our Floorcare/Environmental Control categories. You will manage a team of talented Dyson in-store Demonstrators that work within our retail partners to help create a true Dyson customer experience. You will also work closely with our National Account Managers, Marketing and Finance teams to ensure Dyson’s sales strategy is delivered in your area.
This role is a 12 month fixed term contract which covers the following regions; South Wales, Worcester, Herefordshire & Staffordshire

Accountabilities

  • You will be responsible for driving sales value growth and brand awareness by building brand advocacy and strong relationships with our retailer colleagues in stores 
  • Where we demonstrate, we win; you will lead a team of Dyson Demonstrators in-store, motivating, coaching and ensuring the compliance strategy is executed
  • You will analyse your regional performance and formulate strong sales development plans to ensure you and your demonstrator team exceed your targets
  • You'll support New Product Development launches across all categories and the retail execution across your area
  • Coordinate product training for all Sales Associates, Department Managers and Store Managers on multi-category products through spontaneous and pre-booked training sessions
  • Between you and your demonstrator team, you will promote the full range of Dyson products including personal care, floorcare, and environmental control, highlighting key technology and NPD and bringing this to life in-store
  • There is a requirement to work at least two weekends in any four-week period

Skills

  • You will have a proven leadership background within a multi-site retail environment, or an FMCG field sales environment
  • You'll be able to demonstrate a passion for people, as well as the ability to engage stakeholders from the shop floor through to directors
  • Commercially-minded, you'll enjoy having big strategic conversations as well as getting stuck in to make things happen, and you'll be comfortable thinking on your feet and finding your own path
  • You will have experience of working to and exceeding sales targets, as well as being a skilled negotiator with excellent presentation skills
  • You'll thrive in a fast-paced environment, leading others, building relationships and solving problems
