Description

Research, Design and Development (RDD) Registry exists to manage RDD data and drawings. To ensure data is secured and managed correctly (through the Change Order process) and data is release correctly to other parties, internal and external. We are looking for a highly motivated Administrator to join our Registry and Admin Team as team leader. You will have experience working independently in a fast paced environment. You will need to be adaptable and have the ability to manage several tasks at once. As Registry & Admin Team Leader you will be line managing a team of 3 as well as an active member of the team, performing tasks alongside their team.

Accountabilities

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate leadership skills and the ability to recognise and implement improvements to processes. The teams duties include: 
  • Document control and engineering processes 
    • Process Daily Authorised CRs
    • Generate BOMs
    • Download 2D PDF Authorised Drawings & sense check
    • Download Datasets
    • Derive CNs
    • Distribute CN Packages to CMs
    • Generate CR Report.
    • Execute ETF DOC Tasks from the 3 Production sites for RFQ, Test & Planning 
  • Travel booking supporting RDD & Ops 
    • Booking international travel 
    • Booking national travel Including flights, taxis & trains
    • Ongoing travel booking support for teams and individuals 
    • Managing pool car bookings 
    • Update daily Tasks Tracker 
  • Ordering Stationery equipment 
  • Ordering Safety Shoes for new starters 
  • Assistance with meeting room bookings as and when required 
  • Raise purchase orders on SAP 
  • Other ad hoc administrative tasks as and when required

Skills

  • Proven experience in system administration 
  • Meticulous attention to detail 
  • Great communication skills - both spoken and written, for example: 
    • Communicating with colleagues and suppliers for whom English is a second language 
    • Delivering both written and verbal instructions on system and business processes 
  • Demonstrable experience in working within a process driven environment 
  • Able to prioritise and to deliver timely work according to varying demands 
  • Awareness of the importance of confidentiality and the security implications 
  • Provide accurate and efficient support to the wider business (RDD/Legal/Operations) Ability to work effectively within a team environment 
  • Personable and approachable. Confident and proactive in seeking answers 
  • Computer literate. Proficient in Microsoft office software 
Desirable:
  • Working in multi-national / multi-lingual teams 
  • Ability to build good working relationships and to communicate on all levels
  • Understanding of Siemens Teamcenter PLM system 
  • Good understanding of Dyson procedures and the RDD department.
