Description

The GB&I Retail Team are responsible for bringing our engineering, technology and products to life through New Product (NPD) launches and marketing campaigns to our consumers. This role is focused on training and educating Dyson's own retail teams, as well as that of our retail partners, on our products and  the latest advancements in Dyson technology. 
Our aim is to create inspired and highly differentiated experiences that amplify the pioneering technology we make. 
This role will be based in Malmesbury, however will require national travel and will lead the delivery and internal functions to ensure that all of our NPD and Campaign launches are executed with excellence and activated within our retailers on time to drive sales.

Accountabilities

  • Plan, design and deliver comprehensive training sessions to both internal and external teams on new and existing products to ensure knowledge, engagement and enthusiasm is transferred to our retailers store staff. 
  • Work collaboratively with our Global Retail Training function to coordinate NPD launches, ensuring samples and materials are provided for the retail team. 
  • Conduct regular Retail store and trade visits with the Regional Managers and Advisors in order to coach, deliver constructive feedback and ensure a high level of product knowledge and sales skills are embedded.
  • Constantly evaluate the induction programme for all new starters and recommend changes to drive enthusiasm, knowledge and passion for the brand.
  • Lead a successful rollout to all retail staff and become the GB evangelist for the Dyson retail training app. Gain feedback from the GB team and feed it into the group app development team to help build a stronger app for the future.
  • Be the subject expert in all new and existing products.

Skills

  • Sales training design and delivery in large, matrix organisations where engagement of multiple stakeholders is required
  • Presentation skills – able to present confidently in front of varied audiences
  • Lead retailer relationship management to ensure we represent brand values in all LMS platforms. 
  • Able to analyse retailer ways of selling and influence to drive Dyson growth
  • Ability to travel across the country to attend meetings, training events and recruitment
